Step 47   Let’s look at the middle left box of the sudoku (where DEF cross JKL). This is a very interesting step where you can also check your sudoku success (or failure) so far. There’s only one blank cell in all of the following: Column K, Row E, and middle left box. Remember the sudoku rules: The numbers 1 through 9 must show in every column, row and box (obviously only once). Hence, this one blank cell must have one unique number that would satisfy sudoku rules. A quick examination would make it abundantly clear that the number 7 must be in cell EK.
