Let’s look at the middle left box of the sudoku game (where DEF cross JKL). We can’t put 9s in rows E & F because there are 9s in cells EM and FR on the same rows, respectively. We can’t put a 9 in cell DJ because there’s a 9 in cell CJ on the same column. Therefore, the number 9 must be in cell DK. |
