This is another very difficult sudoku step. We will once again use the process of elimination by focusing on one single cell. Let’s look at cell HM. We can eliminate the numbers 3, 6, 8, 2, and 7 because there are already in column M and every column must contain the numbers 1 through 9. We can eliminate the numbers 1 & 4 because there are already in row H and according to sudoku rules we can’t have a number show more than once in a row. We can eliminate number 9 because it is already in the box in cell GN, and according to Sudoku rules each box must contain the numbers 1 through 9, obviously only once. Therefore, the only number that could possibly show in cell HM is 5. |
