Step by step example of solving a sudoku puzzle

Step 1   Let's look at the top right end box (where ABC cross PQR). We can't put a 9 in row A (cells AQ and AR) because there's a 9 on cell AN, and can't put a 9 in row B (cells BP and BR) because there's a 9 on cell BL.  We can’t put a 9 in cell CP because there's a 9 on the same line on cell EP. Therefore, according to sudoku rules the only cell available for a 9 is cell CQ.
